An agreement has been signed between Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure and Foresight Surveyors Private Limited for the design and EIA of three causeways for Laamu atoll.
Planning ministry said Hithadhoo, Mendhoo, Kalaidhoo, Dhanbidhoo, and Kunahandhoo of Laamu atoll will be linked via causeways. The detail design and environmental impact assessment of the causeway have been contracted to Foresight Surveyors Pvt Ltd for MVR 338,916.
The company has been granted a period of 60 day to complete the work.
The agreement was signed by Director General of Planning Ministry Shana Farooq, and Managing Director of Foresight Surveyors Ahmed Nuaim in a ceremony held on Thursday
