Ali Arif has been appointed as the Secretary General of Jumhoory Party (JP).
The appointment of Ali Arif as the Secretary General of JP was announced on Wednesday. Formerly a member of parliament and representative of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), Arif transferred to JP recently.
Arif's predecessor Hussain Rasheed now works at a position in the World Health Organization (WHO).
