An expatriate has been injured after he was attacked with a sharp object in reclaimed suburb Hulhumale'.
Police confirmed a 33-year old Turkish man who works in Male' city was attacked by two men who passed by on a motorbike, on Saturday night as he exited a guest house in Hulhumale' .
The victim sustained injuries to his chest, cheeks and the back of his neck in the incident. While his injuries are not life-threatening, he is being treated at Treetop Hospital in Hulhumale', said the police.
The case is being investigated further.
