The Maldives on Saturday recorded 25 new cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the new cases are of 19 Maldivians and 6 foreigners. This brings the total number of positive cases to 2,435.
HPA also announced 54 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries over 2000 to 2,030. The number of active cases is 390. 10 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded in the archipelago.
55,8245 samples have been tested for COVID-19 thus far. Authorities said 269 individuals are currently at isolation facilities while 112 individuals are at quarantine facilities.
