The Maldives recorded an additional COVID-19 death on Tuesday.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said a 79-year old local female admitted at the Hulhumale’ Medical Facility passed away on Tuesday evening at 5:05 pm. This is the 14th COVID-19 death in the Maldives.
The Maldives has recorded 2,762 cases of COVID-19 to date. The number of infections are surging once again after a steady decline since the relaxation of preventive measures earlier this month.
