The Maldives on Sunday recorded 50 new positive cases of COVID-19.
The Health Protection Agency, HPA said the new cases are of 34 Maldivians and 16 foreigners. This brings the total number of cases to 3,302, out of which 738 are active.
While 2,534 recoveries have been recorded to date, no new recoveries were announced on Sunday. 15 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded until now.
