The Maldives on Wednesday recorded 61 new cases of COVID-19.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said the new cases are of 44 Maldivian nationals and 17 foreigners. The tally is now at 3,567.
HPA also announced 7 recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,554. While 15 deaths have been recorded to date, the number of active cases is 983.
