An additional COVID-19 death has been recorded in the Maldives.
According to the Health Protection Agency, HPA, a 71-7ear old Maldivian female presented herself to the emergency room at state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital on Thursday morning. She passed away at 1:38 pm, said HPA.
This is the 16th COVID-19 death in the Maldives.
