The Maldives on Saturday recorded an additional COVID-19 death.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 66-year-old male brought to state-run IGMH’s Emergency room in an unresponsive state on Saturday night was declared dead at 08:45pm. The man tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the 66th COVID-19 death recorded in the Maldives, and the fourth death in March.
