The Maldives on Saturday recorded 107 positive cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency, HPA, 104 cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Area while three cases were detected in the atolls. The new cases include 73 locals. The tally has reached 5.679 with the new cases.
2,449 cases are currently active while 22 deaths have been recorded to date. 198 recoveries were recorded on Sunday, bringing the total to 3,208.
