The Maldives on Saturday recorded 96 positive cases of COVID-19.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said all cases were identified in epicentre, capital Male’ region. According to HPA, the new cases are of 64 locals and 32 foreigners. The total number of positive cases recorded in the Maldives is now at 6,660.
HPA also announced 101 new recoveries on Thursday, raising the total number of recoveries to 4,113. While 2,521 cases are currently active, 169 patients are hospitalised. 26 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded to date.
