The Maldives on Thursday recorded 104 positive cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency, HPA, all but two cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Area. While 76 people are locals, 28 people are foreigners, said the agency. The tally is now at 7,329.
HPA also announced 130 recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 4,691. While 28 deaths have been recorded to date, the number of active cases is 2,610. Out of these, 180 patients have been hospitalised.
