The Maldives on Sunday registered 89 new cases of COVID-19.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said all but one case were identified in the Greater Male’ Region. With new cases of 63 locals and 26 foreigners, the total number of cases is now at 7,667.
HPA also announced 111 new recoveries, increasing the total number of recoveries to 4,536. Out of 2,597 active cases, 181 people are being treated at medical facilities.
28 deaths have been recorded to date.
