A second balloon used by Google to provide internet services to rural and remote areas under its 'Google Loon' project fell into Maldivian waters on Tuesday.
Last week, a balloon used for the Loon project fell into the waters between GDh Nadella and GDh Madaveli. No persons were injured in the incident.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) confirmed that a similar incident occurred on Tuesday. The Civil Aviation Authority alerted MNDF that the balloon had fallen into the waters around GDh. Vaadhoo. No persons were injured in the inddent. The balloon has now been recovered by MNDF officers
