The Maldives on Sunday recorded a COVID-19 death, increasing the country’s toll to 43.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 79-year old Maldivian female admitted at Hulhumale’ Medical Facility’s ICU passed away on Sunday morning.
While the Maldives has recorded 12,154 positive cases thus far, the number of deaths has been increasing over the past few days. However, the number of positive cases has not risen significantly.
