The Maldives recorded 47 positive cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. The country’s tally is now at 12,994.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said out of the 1,829 tests conducted during the period, 46 positive cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Region. The remaining case was registered in the atolls.
The Maldives has recorded 11,9-2 recoveries and 46 deaths until now. 1139 cases are active across 15 islands and 30 resorts, and 92 people are currently hospitalized.
