The Maldives recorded 16 positive cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. The country’s tally is now at 13,159.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said out of the 2,012 tests conducted during the period, nine positive cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Region. The remaining seven cases were registered in the atolls.
The Maldives has recorded 12,264 recoveries and 47 deaths until now. 841 cases are active across Maldives and 79 people are currently hospitalized.
