A person has suffered burns in a fire incident that occured aboard a ‘dhoni’, Villa Vaali - 3.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said the incident occured aboard a fishing vessel off M. Kolhufushi when a petrol barrel caught on fire. The person who suffered burns is being taken to Muli Regional Hospital, saif MNDF.
The fire aboard the vessel has now been put out.
