The Maldives recorded 51 positive cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. The country’s tally is now at 14,513.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said out of the 3,303 samples tested during the period, 19 positive cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Region. The remaining 31 cases were registered in the atolls.
The Maldives has recorded 13,540 recoveries and 49 deaths until now. 917 cases are active across Maldives and 69 people are currently hospitalized. Out of these, four are in the Intensive Care Unit and one is on ventilator support.
