The Maldives recorded an additional COVID-19 death on Wednesday.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 70 year old local male admitted at the DH11 facility in capital Male’ passed away at 03:42 pm. This is the 53rd COVID-19 death recorded in the Maldives.
Five COVID-19 deaths have been registered in the Maldives thus far this year.
