The Maldives on Sunday recorded an additional COVID-19 death.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 60 year old local female admitted at the DH11 facility in Dharumavantha Hospital passed away at 11:07 am. This is the 55th COVID-19 registered in the Maldives.
The number of positive cases and COVID-19 deaths have been increasing over the past few weeks. The Maldives has recorded six COVID-19 deaths thus far this year. 2,038 cases are currently active.
