The curfew imposed on Fuvahmulah City has been extended for another week.
A directive signed and issued by the Director General of Public Health Maimoona Aboobakuru said the restrictive measures introduced in Fuvahmulah City on February 12th after identifying positive cases of COVID-19 in the city, will be extended by seven additional days.
The measures imposed in Fuvahmulah include a curfew between 8pm and 4am. Parties, gatherings and other events are banned, and schools, universities, colleges, saloons, gyms and hairdressers are closed. Visiting households is also prohibited. Cafes and restaurants are not allowed to offer dine-in service.
