The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has maintained the monitoring mechanisms imposed on Fuvahmulah City.
51 cases of COVID-19 stemming from three clusters have been identified from Fuvahmulah city thus far. Following the identification of positive cases, the island was put under HPA’s monitoring and a curfew was imposed during certain hours.
While the curfew has now been lifted, HPA has maintained the monitoring mechanisms on the island until March 15. The ban on visiting households and gatherings of over three people in public spaces still remain in place.
