Five people have been arrested from Feydhoo, Addu City in connection to an assault that took place in Feydhoo last Thursday.
According to Maldives Police Service, one minor and four others aged 20, 21, 21 and 32 were arrested in connection to the assault. All five people were arrested on Friday, said the police.
Seven people were injured in the altercations that took place between two gangs near a Children’s Park in Feydhoo. Those injured in the incident are receiving treatment at Feydhoo Hospital and Hithadhoo Hospital.
