The Maldives Wednesday recorded an additional COVID-19 death.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 66 year old male brought to main government hospital, IGMH’s ER in an unresponsive state was declared dead at 12:35 pm. He passed away shortly after he was brought to the hospital, said HPA. This is the 67th COVID-19 death recorded in the Maldives.
The Maldives has recorded 24,079 cases of COVID-19 thus far. Over 2,800 cases are active at this time.
