11 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in tourism island K. Maafushi.
The Health Protection Agency's monitoring mechanisms were activated for the island after a person who went to the island's Flu Clinic tested positive for the virus on Tuesday. 10 other cases have been identified since then.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said it is currently carrying out contact tracing processes on the island.
