National carrier Maldivian will be restarting direct flights between Dhaka, Bangladesh and Velana International Airport (VIA).
Maldivian said flight operation will restart on Wednesday after having been suspended for two weeks. Bangladesh authorities suspended international flights to Dhaka on April 14 after the COVID-19 situation in Bangladesh deteriorated.
Three weekly flights will operate to the destination upon resumption of service.
